Warning: an excessive amount of pictures in this post
We went to South Texas last weekend for a short visit. We had lots of fun.... as always. This was David's first trip to the Ranch.... the first of many.
The Ranch House

Making cookies with Grams...

Getting a good snuggle with Grams. This little boy loves his Grams.

Patti really wants a pet. This is as close as she's going to get for a while. She loves animals, always has. I feel bad (sometimes) about her not having a cat at home. Maybe one day.

Mike entertaining David for me with a magazine.

I love love love these pictures. Paw Paw took David outside for some fresh air. I peeked out the window and saw this...

Bath time in the sink...

Some more magazine time with Mike.

Uncle Bomboo found a Horned Toad. They are rare and really hard to find. Patti wasn't afraid at all of holding this creepy little thing.

Of course Paw Paw had to make his famous popcorn. Cal loves it... and evidently so does Daniel.

Say cheese....

David is almost 6 months old... and this little guy is so ready to start crawling. I'm not sure how I feel about this yet. I know he will be so happy to be mobile and won't get so frustrated trying to reach toys.... but, he's also going to be harder to keep up with.

He really really wanted this book...

He pulled it closer and it slid under him and he didn't realize it.
He got really upset when he couldn't find it.

Score~ right in the mouth.

No such thing as an excessive amount of pictures of sweet children. They are adorable.

Loved the picture of the horned toad. I didn't know that ANY still lived anywhere in Texas!! We used to play with them all the time when I was a kid. Loved seeing all your sweet pictures!!

LOVE the pics! What a fun time. I hunted horned toads at my grandparents' ranch when I was younger, but haven't seen any in about 10 years. Glad Patti had fun with that one. :)
