All better...

Looks like we're finally on the road to healthy.... with a little yuck yuck left over.

So, Cal knows how to use my little camera. He can turn it on, take pictures, and switch it over to scroll through and see the pictures he just took. He took over a dozen pictures the other day... here are a few.

Ear infections stink!

Thank you to all of those who have been praying for our health. Well, Cal woke up this morning (more like 12:45 am) with a high high fever. We broke the fever with Tylenol, but it soon came back at 5:30 am. Needless to say, it was a miserable night for everyone (even Daddy, who had to get up to go to work.... he was ready with a cold wash cloth without Mommy having to ask for it... sweet Daddy was concerned about his little buddy). We're doing much better, but Cal has an ear infection that might take a few days to clear up.

Speaking of ears, our sweet little nephew/cousin (Isaiah) has to have tubes put in his ears on Wednesday. It's a "routine" procedure, but nonetheless it's a scary time for any parent.... no one wants to see their 19 month old baby to go through something like this. Our prayers go out to Aunt Neesey, Uncle Mike-Mike and the girls. Love you lots....

My Supertwins!

One of our birthday gifts was this fabulous Batman/Superman cape that Aunt Neesey made. They love to put it on and run around the house yelling "I'm Batmam.... I'm Supermam!" What's funny though, is that they think that whatever is underneath (on the bottom side) is what they are. Well, it makes sense... that's what they see when I put it on them. They've gotten really upset with me when they ask me to put on Smam or Bmam and I do it "wrong". So, in the pictures below, they are Supermam (hence the arm up in the air to help them fly). Btw, I had nothing to do with their outfits that day.

Sick and tired of being sick and tired!

Today is Day 3 of being stuck at home and quarantined from the rest of the world. I'm feeling better, but unfortunately my kids are still sick. Patti is still running fever (it's not as bad as it was earlier in the week) and has a terrible cough and can't breathe through her nose. Cal woke up at 2 am with a high fever and a 'barky' cough. With Ibuprofen/Tylenol, we're good to go though. They are troopers and have handled this sickness like champs.... not too much whining or fussing. They do want to be in Mommy's lap or arms most of the day, but I'm not complaining about that. Anyway, it's been tough entertaining them all day inside for three days. One of our favorite activities (thanks Grams!!) is Amazing Capsule Creatures. They love these things! We've done all the farm animals, jungle animals and dinosaurs.

Whew!

We had a fabulous birthday weekend! Lots and lots of family and friends.... can't get any better than that! The kids got lots of goodies... including money for their college fund and new bikes! We are definately exhausted. I'm not feeling that great... allergies maybe. Patti woke up this morning with a high fever. Cal wasn't being himself this morning either... really fussy and grumpy.... oh wait, he's like that every morning!

Happy Birthday to Patti, Cal and Logan!

We share our birthday with our friend, Logan. We had a fabulous birthday cake (made by Logan's mommy) for the three 3 yr olds. Too cute... I had to share!

Happy Birthday Cal and Patti!

Happy 3rd Birthday to our precious babies. It seems just like yesterday that we were bringing them home from the hospital. We were so scared, and so tired. At that time, I don't think we could have fathomed the joy that these two babies would bring to our lives.

All aboard!

Patti started lining up her books the other day. I got a little worried (she use to line up all her animals and was so obsessed with it that it really worried me). Cal started to mess with her and move the books (picture 2)... she shoved him away and I made sure that he left her alone until she was finished. Once she finished making a path all the way to the kitchen, she announced "Come on Cal, let's get on the train tracks!!!" This was great... their imaginations are taking flight! I am so excited about watching their little imaginations grow and all the great stuff that they are coming up with. I love it! Anyway, they went around and around on their train tracks. That day the weather was bad, so it was cloudy and dark... we got our flashlights out and had tons of fun!
