Like mother, like daughter...

I LOVE ketchup! Anyone who really knows me knows that I will eat ketchup on just about anything. It all started when I was really little... I remember sitting at the dinner table and turning my nose up at my potatoes. My dad was trying to encourage me to eat them and he said, "Look at Randy, he puts ketchup on his... why don't you try it that way." That's all it took... I was hooked for life! Any kind of meat, starch or vegetable was dunked into ketchup before it got near my mouth. I think I offended many chefs in my day by asking, "can I have some ketchup?" Sorry mom, but I used to hide the bottle of ketchup under the table every Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner. The big pile of red stuff on my plate was not cranberry sauce. I'm sure you knew and just didn't want to admit it. I remember my dad telling someone that I was born with a bottle of ketchup in my hand. For a while, I believed him. I'm getting better about the ketchup addiction... I still struggle though.

Anyway, my daughter inherited this ketchup gene. She loves it as much as I do - if not more. I don't know if I EVER licked the ketchup off my plate...

It's obvious she does, indeed love ketchup when you look at how much she got on her face, and yet, didn't waste a DROP on her shirt. It's spotless! Amazing!
